High lift irrigation,

Powering Agriculture Across Elevation

In agricultural regions where topography poses a challenge, Amppera motors are used to drive high-lift irrigation systems that transport water from deep sources to elevated fields or across steep terrain. These motors support vital irrigation infrastructure, ensuring consistent water supply for food production in areas where gravity alone isn’t enough.

A typical setup involves lifting water from depths of up to 1,000 feet (300 meters), requiring motors that deliver both high thrust and continuous, stable performance. Amppera motors rise to the challenge with thrust load capacities of up to 33,000 lbs. (15 tons) and speeds of 1,500 rpm, enabling high-volume pumping under heavy axial load.

Designed for outdoor or indoor installation, our motors are available with WPII (Weather-Protected Type II) cooling systems, ensuring optimal thermal performance even in hot, dusty agricultural environments. Whether installed in a pump house or exposed to the elements, they offer reliable operation, low maintenance, and long service life.

Amppera supports sustainable agriculture across diverse geographies, helping farms irrigate crops effectively and maintain yields, even when the water source is far below or far away.
